About the project
Photographing the Ford 351-GT was a lot of fun. The owner was just about to sell the car that once belonged to Allan Moffat and wanted some images to remember it by. We chose an industrial warehouse to photograph the classic automobile, as the simple grey concrete really made the bright orange pop and left the background distraction-free. Some of the lines in the architecture were also helpful to add some dynamics and symmetry to the images. A composite image was also created using various images Kelvin had taken on some of his overseas trips as an extra gift to the client.
